Call it an engagement shoot, a practice shoot or a couple shoot, what ever you want. It’s a photoshoot to tell the story of the two of you, the way you interact with one another. The way you smile at one another. The way you make the other feel.

I cannot recommend having the opportunity to do a couple shoot with your photographer before the big day enough, from a photographers perspective, it’s a chance for us to see the two of you together and how you interact, what poses you naturally fall into without prompting. To see how your differences come together when we give you prompts or poses to do. To see what works and what doesn’t for the two of you. So that come your wedding day, we can direct you in ways that work for you two, because we’ve had this chance to hang out and get to know the two of you, create inside jokes with you and see what things make the two of you laugh.
