Muriwai, west of Auckland is one of my absolute photoshoot favourite locations, especially Maukatia Bay, just south of Muriwai Beach. The gannet colony cliffs here always make this beautiful bay a gorgeous backdrop for wedding and engagement photographs and it’s such a nice break from my Waikato and Bay of Plenty locations.

Before these two made the big move overseas we just had to capture their couple portraits here in New Zealand, and bonus, it gave me the opportunity to text out my new Sony cameras before the wedding season started. Even with the wind blowing around us, these two were absolute troopers and we got one of the best sunsets I’ve had at Muriwai too.
