Autumn is one of the best times for family portraits, think beautiful colours and warm knits. Bonus the sunset is early in the evening, allowing you to capture those beautiful Waikato sunsets without staying out til 8pm at night. Make sure you’ve got something warm to throw on. Layers are great for ensuring little ones stay warm during the photoshoot but also look super cute!

These two and their little boy Noah are some of my favourite clients ever. They are always so much fun and little Noah makes my heart so happy. We planned this photoshoot in Autumn to make sure we could capture adorable rugged up family photographs and we chose Morrinsville Recreation Center in the Waikato because it has some of the most gorgeous tones at that time of year.
