For this commercial photography shoot with Lab Brow Bar in Hamilton, we created a complete library of imagery covering the team, the services they provide and the products and details throughout the business.

The shoot included individual staff portraits, team photographs, treatments in progress and plenty of supporting images, giving Lab Brow Bar a varied collection to use across their website, social media and marketing.

Creating consistent headshots for the team

A big part of the shoot was photographing each member of the Lab Brow Bar team individually.

Keeping the lighting, background and overall style consistent meant everyone had their own professional portrait while the photographs still worked together as a complete set.

We also photographed different team combinations, creating options for pages and marketing where the people behind the business needed to be shown together.

Photographing the services

Alongside the portraits, we photographed the team actually working with clients.

For a beauty business, these images are particularly useful because they show far more than a finished result. They give potential clients an idea of the treatments, the environment and what an appointment actually looks like.

We captured a mixture of wider photographs showing the interaction between staff and clients, along with tighter images focusing on the treatments themselves.

Products, details and supporting images

Not every image in a commercial gallery needs to be a portrait.

We also photographed products, tools and smaller details throughout Lab Brow Bar, creating supporting imagery that could be used throughout their website and social content.

These photographs are particularly handy for service pages, backgrounds, banners and posts where another smiling photograph of a staff member isn’t necessarily what you need.

More than a set of team headshots

By photographing the people, services and details during the same shoot, Lab Brow Bar ended up with a much broader image library than they would have received from headshots alone.

The finished gallery included individual portraits, team photography, client interactions, treatments, products and detail images, giving the business plenty of different content to draw from.
