There are some Family Photoshoots that just feel like pure magic from start to finish and Jesse and Holly’s family shoot in Waikato was exactly that. We were blessed with one of those golden Waikato sunsets that drenched the fields in the softest light, the kind that makes everything glow and look so pretty (perfect for photos). Add in two cheeky little boys, their gorgeous fur-baby bounding around, and the stunning backdrop of their friend’s deer farm, and it honestly felt like something out of a storybook.

Between playful chases and cuddles with Mum and Dad and a lot of games and running around, I was able to capture the most natural, joy-filled moments. The kind of memories that remind you how beautiful this season of life really is. Their little pup Harvey was right in the thick of it too, wagging along for every hug and tumble, making sure no one forgot he was part of the family.

Looking back on this session and seeing these images of this little family is the perfect reminder of why I love what I do. These aren’t just photos, they’re a little piece of their story, captured in a place and a time in their life that already holds so much meaning to them.
