An in-depth, two day workshop on composition, posing and editing. Dissecting and troubleshooting posing for couples and individuals, this workshop will help you to pose more creatively and improve your ability to quickly and intuitively correct your posing for people of all body types. Spend day one learning and critiquing poses, light and composition. Finishing day one by shooting our beautiful model in an absolutely incredible floral installation for your portfolio. Spend day two shooting our second stunning model and then editing our images from the shoots! Come for one day or come to both!

Day One.

- AN IN-DEPTH DIVE INTO POSING COUPLES, BRIDES, GROOMS AND INDIVIDUALS. HOW TO HANDLE DIFFERENT BODIES, HOW TO SCULPT WITH LIGHT AND TROUBLE SHOOT CLIENT INSECURITIES.

- TOGETHER WE WILL EDIT A SERIES OF IMAGES FROM EACH SHOOT, FIRST SHOWING YOU EXACTLY HOW I WOULD EDIT AND RETOUCH FOR WEDDINGS AS WELL AS PORTRAITS

BOTH DAYS WILL FEATURE A DIFFERENT MODEL AND DRESS TO PHOTOGRAPH WITH THE BEAUTIFUL FLORALS THAT ARE BEING CREATED JUST FOR THIS WORKSHOP.

This workshop is designed for someone who wants to fine tune their posing for couples and individuals. Discover new ways on how to pose various body types, heights and shapes. Trouble shooting posing and sculpting with light to address client insecurities. To make the most of the photoshoots ideally you will already have a good understanding on your settings in natural light.
We will be specifically covering posing for couples, brides, grooms and individuals. Day one's photoshoot will be a bridal shoot and our day two's photoshoot will be a fashion/beauty shoot. We will discuss trouble shooting & posing for different insecurities, posing for various heights and shapes and sculpting with light - this knowledge will help in all genres where you direct and pose people.
Yes, but you will want to ensure that you already have a good understanding of using your camera in a natural light scenario before attending the workshop to make the most of the photoshoots. We will not be covering settings in-depth other than to explain what settings I use while photographing the styled shoots on the day and how they effect posing.
Yes absolutely, you can purchase your ticket to the first or second days, or for two days and make the most out of the experience. Day one covers posing and a bridal shoot. Day two covers a beauty/fashion shoot and editing the images we've taken at the two shoots.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot. The final balance is due 30 days before the workshop. Tickets are non-refundable. If you are unable to make it, you may on-sell your ticket to another photographer with written notice to Haley Adele Photography.
For the second day, ideally you should have both Photoshoot and Lightroom.
